Postdocs:
We are looking for two postdoctoral researchers to join the BS4S project (https://lnkd.in/d2nwkFgB). The projects are for 36 months.
The application process consists of a few steps. By the end of December 2025, you will need to submit a description of your project idea. You can find a template on the project webpage. Your project idea should draw on the expertise of my research group and the co-mentor’s. The co-mentors who have agreed to work with us are:
-Prof. Nako Nakatsuka
– Prof. Lars Jeuken
– Prof. Dr. Kristina Tschulik
If you are interested in the position, please write to Emilia who you would like as your co-mentor and explain how you can utilise the expertise of the mentor, co-mentor and yourself in your project.
BS4S is similar to MSCA Individual Fellowships in that the selected projects should combine your existing knowledge with the expertise of the mentor and co-mentor. This should demonstrate that you will learn something new, and that you will bring expertise that we do not currently possess.
Trainees:
If You are a BSc or MSc student and would like to work part-time on one of our projects, please get in touch with Emilia or other group members that better fit your background for more info. We are open to admitting students for internships and serving as auxiliary or full supervisors for your thesis. At the moment we have a funding opportunity from the new Sonata BIS project, so if you are interested in a payed internship let us know.
We are searching for students interested in projects about:
- date rape drug detection
- paper-based analytical devices
- development of sensors for Chemical Oxygen Demand
- and help in other ongoing projects
