Ntanhaning Medonjeu Morel Brinda

Ntanhaning Medonjeu Morel Brinda, oil painting by Emilia Witkowska Nery

I completed my Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Yaoundé I, specialising in analytical chemistry (electrochemistry) and materials engineering. My Master’s work focused on developing an electrochemical method for evaluating antioxidant properties using the CUPRAC technique.

During my studies, I built a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science, and coordination chemistry, and I was honoured to receive several distinctions, including the Best Female Scientist Award (OWSD Cameroon, 2022–2023) and multiple Academic Excellence Awards granted annually by the Cameroonian Head of State.

I am highly motivated to work on innovative sensing technologies, which is why I joined the NCN Sonata BIS project “Unlocking the potential of ion‑transfer voltammetry-based electronic tongues for date‑rape drug detection in real samples,” as it combines my interests in electrochemical methods, device development, and meaningful real‑world applications.

I am excited to expand my skills, learn from the team, and contribute to the development of advanced analytical tools.
